Ghana can get really hot at times. On those kinds of days, maybe you just want to laze around by a pool. Today, we want to show you the best swimming pools in Ghana where you will also get to enjoy beautiful panoramic views across the country’s vast and diverse landscapes.
Best swimming pools with a view in Ghana
There is set of increible hotels with swimming pools in Accra, and outside of the capital, you will also find the most stunning beach resorts in Ghana, many of them with incredible looking pools. But, in this article you’ll find the best swimming pools featuring outstanding and unique views, you can´t get anywhere else.
Golden Hill Parker
Golden Hill Parker hotel is located in Elmina, precisely on Bantuma Hills near Elmina Slave Castle and Fort in the Central Region of Ghana. Surrounded by the entire Elmina Township, you can see the entire town whilst taking your dip in the pool.
It will give you the unique oversight of the Gulf of Guinea, the Elmina slave castle, and fort Jago. What better way to experience Elmina right? Another fact you may find interesting is that this pool is the largest in the region and it is the only hotel with a whirlpool.
Prices for food and drink are fairly priced as well as the cost of admission to use the pool which is 40GHS (that is if you decide to not reside in their hotel of course). The pool is open to the general public between 10:00 AM till 8:00 PM.
In case you are also interested in booking a stay at the hotel, the starting price for a Deluxe room is $126 / 741 GHS and up to $136 / 844GHS for their most expensive room which is the Superior room.
Getting to the hotel can be a little confusing. You first have to drive through Elmina township, until you get to a certain junction where you turn and that is where a very steep road that goes all the way up to the hotel starts.
In case you want to avoid getting lost, you should know they offer a transport service which can pick you up directly from GreenViews or from your most convenient location.
You can check more details on their website.

Hillburi is another option with an infinity pool located in Aburi. As opposed to Aburi Bio, it is more well-known (also offers more rooms on site) so the pool tends to get more crowded.
You will find yourself at a very tropical setting, with landscaping and the infinity pool which overlooks the Akwapim mountain range. Looking down at the pool gives the impression that the pool is lodged at the edge of the cliff while providing a beautiful picturesque view of the evergreen hills with Accra at a distance.
Prices for using the infinity pool are at 60GHS (week days) and 70GHS on weekends and public holidays. Children under the age of 12, pay 40GHS on a weekday and 50GHS on a weekend. You can use the pool until 6pm.
